Seedpod Fish Eagle

The proud and striking fish eagle is the national bird of Zimbabwe, and its loud and distinctive call is an iconic sound of Africa. These birds are also mates for life, which makes a pair of these a great present for a couple or your sweetheart!

Using the seedpods of the ulumbu tree (sterculia rogersii), Zimbabwean artists have created these charming little birds. Standing on hand twisted wire feet, they are between 3-4" tall and are handpainted in the rich bright colors of each bird's plumage.
