About Philippa Roberts

Philippa started her handmade jewelry brand over 20 years ago. Philippa Roberts Jewelry is carried in specialty shops and museum stores around the world. She opened the Philippa Roberts store in Oakland, CA in 2006. She’s often found running back and forth between store to studio helping customers find the perfect gift or designing her new upcoming line.

What materials are your jewelry pieces made from?
All pieces are made with sterling silver. Vermeil pieces are sterling silver with 16k gold plating. All chains and findings are either sterling silver or 14k gold fill. Most of our stones are natural semi precious and precious stones. Some may be color enhanced.

Where is your jewelry made?
All of our jewelry is made in our shop and Oakland studio by our team of jewelers.


Can I request a custom design or modification to an existing piece?
We offer some customizations for Philippa Roberts Jewelry. We can easily swap out some chains, make chains longer, shorter, or swap for different stones if we have them on hand. Please email info@philipparoberts.com for further questions or call our store/studio at 510.655.0656


How should I care for my jewelry to keep it looking its best?
To keep your Philippa Roberts Jewelry looking fresh & new, we recommend using Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner for Sterling Silver Jewelry & following these quick, easy cleaning instructions: 

For sterling silver & vermeil jewelry without pearls, dip the pieces into the solution for a few seconds. Remove from the solution. Rinse with water & towel dry the piece. If needed, dip a soft toothbrush into the solution & gently brush the piece with the toothbrush to remove tarnish from the crevices. Rinse with water & towel dry the piece. If the piece contains pearls, dip a soft toothbrush into the solution and clean around the pearl. Rinse with water & towel dry the piece. Do not use a polishing cloth. Our jewelery has a matte finish and there are polishing compounds in most polishing cloths. These chemicals will get stuck in the grooves of the matte finish and make it look tarnished.

Can I request repairs for damaged jewelry?
Yes! Our jewelry can become well loved over time. If you need a repair done, feel free to reach out. We will let you know our repair pricing when an inquiry is made since it differs piece to piece. We can also make half pairs for lost earrings mates! Just make sure to contact us, some items may no longer be in production. If we can't make the half pair then we offer to add a jump ring to your lone mate to be worn as a necklace. We only charge for the half pair unless you want a full pair "just in case".

What is your policy on jewelry repairs for items purchased from third-party sellers?

We have many stores around the U.S. selling our jewelry. While we prefer you go back to those idividual retailers for your repair needs, we understand it's not always possible. Feel free to contact us at info@philipparoberts.com or call our store/studio at 510.655.0656

About our online store
Our online store is an extension of our brick and mortar Oakland, Ca store. Everything online is also available in our physical shop and is accessible 24/7. We carry not only Philippa Roberts Jewelry, but also other designer jewelry, home goods, and gift items.

What payment methods do you accept?

We take all major credit cards, apple pay, shop, and paypal. All through secure payments with Shopify.

Do you offer gift cards or gift certificates?

Yes! You can purchase them online or in store. The card/code will be sent to you or the recipient through email. You can also call and request a physical gift card from our store that you can either pick up or have mailed to you or your recipient.

What are your hours?
Our brick and mortar store is open 7 days a week.
Monday-Saturday 10am - 6pm
Sundays 11am - 5pm
We are closed on some major holidays. Usually New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

SHIPPING


When will my items ship?
We ship our online store items Monday - Friday, within 1-2days of recieving your order. We ship Priority mail with insurance. Items generally get to the East Coast with 3 days and up to 2 weeks for other parts of the world, depending on customs. 
For Philippa Roberts Jewelry, we will also ship within 1-2 days unless it is vermeil item not in stock. In this case the item will ship within 2 weeks. We will notify you imediately if the items is out of stock.
How can I track the status of my order?
All orders once mailed, will automatically email you a tracking number. If you have the Shop App, then you will also see updates displayed there.
Where do you ship?
We ship all over the U.S. as well as around the world using USPS Priority Mail. We are not responsible for any taxes or duties that your country requires.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messaging services?
Yes! For every Philippa Roberts jewelry piece as well as all other jewelry pieces that are shipped, except bargain bin, we will wrap each item in a box with a bow. You can also add a note in our note box on the "Cart" page. Or you can email us diectly at info@philipparoberts.com with you message.
For all non jewelry items or Bargain Bin we will gift wrap upon request.
Can I request a rush order or expedited shipping?
Yes! Please call us at 510.655.0656 or email us at info@philipparoberts.com. There will be an extra charge for an expidited shipment. 
What is your policy on lost or stolen packages?
For all items we will either refund or replace your lost or stolen item, once it is confirmed lost or stolen by USPS


RETURNS & EXCHANGES


What is your return/exchange policy?
For Our Store:
Our policy is exchange only within 20 days of purchase.
For Online Orders:
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, simply return the jewelry and a copy of your receipt within 20 days from the date it was shipped for an exchange or refund minus shipping for Online Orders only. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs for returns and exchanges.
